That probably explains why the team has reached out to former Boston Celtics swingman Mickael Pietrus, according to the Indianapolis Star. The 30-year-old Pietrus averaged 6.9 points in 21.9 minutes per contest for the Celtics last year. He would likely come off the bench and replace Sam Young and/or Lance Stephenson in the rotation if he joins the club.

The guys is a reasonable player but him and his agent refused to accept anything less than $4M deal since he apparently had such offers overseas.
Anything > $2M per is not worth it for backup minutes.
