06:45 PM ET 11.07 | Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry is currently taking things day-by-day after suffering a nasty ankle sprain in the Raptors' loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night. The Raptors confirmed that Lowry will miss the team's game against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday and he will be evaluated each day to see if he injury has improved. Lowry stepped on Thunder big man Serge Ibaka's foot late in the second quarter and left the game. The Raptors would be in trouble if Lowry is out for a considerable amount of time.

Ankle sprains are pretty normal in the NBA and shouldn't be a big deal. Hopefully that's all it is and he gets right back out there soon.

Yeah it depends on how much weight a person carries, plus if that person is a driver/slasher like Rose of the Bulls and a fast healer
