Resignation creeping in on Eagles

08:01 AM ET 11.08 | The Eagles may have another opponent to worry about: themselves. The concern from one veteran on the Eagles' defense isn't the rising number of missed tackles and the short gains suddenly turning into long ones. The fear is that the mindset on defense has changed, that complacency -- or worse, resignation -- has become pervasive inside the locker room. "It could be that things are going bad now and it's not happening and it's starting to maybe become more that guys are accepting it as being normal," defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins said Wednesday. "We've got to make sure we don't let it get like that. We're going to have times where somebody's not doing the right assignment or you have a missed tackle. But you've got to know that that's not normal."

Not so sure about that. Not at all. The cowboys are the better team and win this one IMO. They outplayed the Ravens, Giants and were as good as the Falcons. The NFC East is wide open. Wide Open.

The Giants would have to falter more than they did last week to lose this division. Tex is right - The Cowboys forget to take their sixguns out of the holster before firing. Eagles? See the other thread with the Fat Andy pic. And RG-III isn't shooting himself in the foot, but rather the head (concussion) and chest (ribs) and will be lucky to finish the season on the active roster.

The Redskins can't stop anybody, and the Boys and Iggles can't stop stopping themselves.
Of the three, the Boys are closest to righting the ship, but they need the Giants to extend this little mini-swoon.

Maybe the D is just getting worn down by having their QB give their opponents the ball. When you start defending in the red zone it gets pretty old.

The Eagles never replaced J Johson. He made that defense work and it was their defense that carried them. Reid was replaceable, J Johnson was not.

Headline and photo suggest they are asking Reid to resign--but really, someone has to coach the team until the season ends, it might as well be him.
Didn't one of Vick's other coaches quit mid-season? I don't think it is primarily Vick's fault this time, I think it is primarily the O-line, but I can see why a coach would quit on this team.
