Vikings could be without Harvin

02:07 PM ET 11.08 | Percy Harvin suffered a sprained ankle in Week 9 and has been spotted limping "very badly" in the Vikings locker room, according to Tom Pelissero of 1500ESPN.com. Harvin's status is certainly in question with reports saying he has "a long ways to go" to be available for Sunday's game against the Lions. Harvin's had a solid season with 62 receptions for 677 yards and three receiving touchdowns this season so his absence would hurt in this key divisional matchup.

It's laughable that this guy, who is always hurt, is on everybody's MVP list

+1. He's a dangerous player when he's on the field but I'm pretty sure he's never made it through a complete season. Bad news for the Vikes as losing him cuts their offensive capability in half. All the Lions will have to do is key on AP.

Harvin has not miss a game this year because of injury so call coach and I doubt it. The most time he has miss in NFL has got to do with migraines and not football related injuries. I don't know if this is the first time you have notice Harvin, but this a player than return kickoffs, running back, and slot receiver, and so how can you make that comment want to be coach that he is not worthy of being considered MVP of the NFL.

"... so his absence would hurt in this key divisional matchup."

This is not a 'divisional' matchup, lol!!! The teams are in the same conference, and in different divisions. Is 'divisional' even a word???

Yes, it is. It's the National Football Conference, and the NFC North Division. Hence, a divisional matchup.

MVP....maybe not, but I'd like him on my team....if I had one.....

November 8, 2012  07:30 PM ET

Ya he will probably only play in offense plays.

Man, you're right. Don't ask me why, as I cannot explain, but I looked at that pic of Harvin, and I thought Vikes v. Seachickens ... weird. Could be all the cold beverages I've had. I dunno.

I think you need to borrow Ryan Tannehill's new chart of the NFL divisions. Maybe you two can study together.
