06:47 PM ET 11.08 | Following UFC 153 last month, it was revealed heavyweight Dave Herman tested positive for marijuana when tested before fighting Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. While there is no athletic commission in Brazil, the UFC essentially handled the testing. According to Marc Ratner, UFC vice president of regulatory affairs, he has been suspended for "six months from the day of the fight and must undergo and participate in an approved rehabilitation program, and have a clean drug test when the suspension is over."

Yeah pot is a serious performance enhancer isn't it? Effing ridiculous...the guy wants to smoke a joint after a fight or day of training and he loses 6 months for it? Get a clue White.

I don't know the first thing about fighting, but I know lots about pot, and can't imagine the circumstances where it would give you a competitive advantage at anything but Xbox. Maybe foosball.
