12:19 PM ET 11.08 | Chicago Bears cornerback Charles Tillman told the world Thursday morning that his wife expects to give birth to their daughter on Monday, and he plans to play in Sunday's game against the Houston Texans. Peanut broke the news himself via Twitter, telling ESPN's Mike and Mike show: "god, family, football ... baby's coming Monday don't worry I'll be there Sunday." Earlier in the week, the Bears faced the possibility of playing without Tillman who planned to be with his wife when she gave birth. Controversy swirled around the news when Pro Football Talk editor Mike Florio publicly criticized the Tillman and the Bears' decision to miss the game.

Good thing the baby understands that she needs to wait an extra day. On the other hand, this Florio guy sounds kind of like an idiot.

The more I hear from this guy the better I like him. Tillman seems to have his priorities straight.

If the Bears don't give him permission to miss Sunday there is no doubt that Tillman will be there, because no play no pay, and good for him he got plenty of ink this week and a new baby to.
