01:43 PM ET 11.08 | It's been nearly a month since Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen and his wife gave birth to their son TJ. This week, Olsen's son was finally able to leave the hospital after needing surgery for a congenital heart defect. In an Thursday interview with WFNZ in Charlotte, Olsen talked about the bringing his son home for the first time and the support he received from the Panthers organization. "Everybody???s doing good. It feels like it???s been a long time coming and something we???ve been looking forward to for a long time, and we???re just thankful that the doctors were able to give him such good treatment, and his recovery was a little faster than everyone really anticipated. "It means everything. It shows you that the people have their priorities straight with this organization. And that???s the kind of team, that???s the kind of people that you want to work for and play for. Sometimes I think, in this business, people really lose track of that."

Terrific story in a world where wolves and thieves prosper and the vile and repugnant are often featured.
The very best to all concerned here!
