01:54 PM ET 11.08 | Nate Marquardt will be making his first title defense on Jan. 12. The Strikeforce welterweight champion will put his title on the line against Tarec Saffiedine in a yet unnamed location. Marquardt won the vacant Strikeforce title with a fourth-round knockout of Tyron Woodley this past July.
