Billups a month away from returning

03:29 PM ET 11.08 | Los Angeles Clippers veteran guard Chauncey Billups has been out of action with a ruptured achilles since last season, but it finally looks like there's light at the end of the tunnel. Billups said Wednesday that he's hoping to return from the injury in a month. "Barring any setbacks, I'm hoping in a month I'll be back out there," Billups said on ESPN's NBA Countdown. "I'm back practicing with the team so everything is looking good." That timetable would allow Billups to return in early December prior to a long road trip.
