05:28 PM ET 11.08 | The man that Utah Jazz fans called "Money Man" has officially announced his retirement. Mehmet Okur, who had his best years starring for the Jazz from 2004 to 2010, officially left the game on Thursday, telling everyone of the news in a statement. "While working out with my private trainer, I got offers many NBA teams and elite teams from Europe. However, once your body doesn???t allow you to be as good as you were in the past and If you are used to playing at a certain level," Okur said. "I think it???s time to say goodbye to the sport that you love very much. That time has came for Mehmet Okur." Okur won a championship in 2004 with the Detroit Pistons before departing as a free agent the very next summer.
