08:03 AM ET 11.09 | Eagles cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has heard -- on the field, no less -- the reputation that now precedes them. It's not flattering. "Everybody looks at us as a pretty defense," Rodgers-Cromartie said. "They're just big guys with big talent that don't really want to hit nobody." The comments come after two games in which opponents scored a combined 58 points against the Eagles, with tackling a clear issue. Rodgers-Cromartie said opposing players tell him, "You guys are talented, but you all don't want to hit nobody." Asked whether that reputation is fair, Rodgers-Cromartie said, "When I look at film, it's fair." The solution is to become more physical, he said.

From what I've seen, it sure looks true for the secondary.

No, it's not flattering at all. But it seems accurate.

Good opponent this week for what ails them.

November 9, 2012  08:19 AM ET

Hope they continue their lack of hitting this Sunday.

Andy Reid's coaching strategy to combat this: play Olivia Newton John's song, "Let's Get Physical" in the locker room.

So, Suh has no competition on this team, then?

November 9, 2012  09:02 AM ET

Yeah, they dont like to get hit either, but watch out if the league ever goes flag football....

Jon Gruden will fix it all

With Vick putting his defense on the field twice as much as any other team, they're probably pretty sore. On the other hand, they could be just a bunch of overpriced players who have collected their payday and are just coasting now.

This team is in total disarray, sorry Eagle fans....but as Otis said.....keep it going!

November 9, 2012  11:08 AM ET

If they played the Giants every game during the season, you would see them hit and go undefeated, Go Figure, maybe Andy can get the league to have his opponents dress in Giants Uniforms!!!

Good synopsis Sir

I believe the majority of the problem is, no one wants to get hurt for Reid or Vick
