08:16 AM ET 11.09 | At this point, it seems Shin-Soo Choo's days are numbered in Cleveland. The Indians can trade him this off-season. They can trade him at the non-waiver or waiver deadlines in July or August. Or they can keep him the entire 2013 season and make him a qualifying offer. ... [Agent Scott Boras] said he will continue to negotiate for Choo on an "annual basis" in regard to 2013. He also fired a shot across the bow of owners Larry and Paul Dolan. "Choo's let it be known that he has a desire to win," Boras said. "I think the ownership in Cleveland, foundationally, they're going to have to illustrate some dynamics with new revenues and where they stand about what they do to show their fan base and their players who they are in competing."

Choo I think you have been stuck up Boros pipe to long if you think these owners are paying you and your buddies big money and don't have any desire of winning.

Dude can hit for average, power, and is a good fielder. Sign him to at least 5 year deal.

scott boras is nothing but a pain,, the teams or the owners can't sign boras players unless they give to them a 6 years deal,,,plus boras its expecting his big cut comission,,,,

He's 30, so another prob good 3-4 years out of him, before starting to decline. His numbers kinda mirror Travis Heffman (not in hitting 40 bombs but the way it is starting to decline at 28-29, even with injury). So... probably best to trade him to Yankees before getting stuck with $ 90 mil 6 year deal

At best, he'll give you another 2-3 .290, .390 OBA. 20 bombs, 80 RBI. Is 2-3 years of that worth $ 90 mil over 6 years...? If he was 27, yeah, but he is 30... so answer is no

A couple more years with Cleveland and he will be at 10 & 5, and able to veto trades. If Cleveland is going to trade him they probably need to do it this year or next; otherwise plan on keeping him to the end.

Choo needs to be dealt. The Indians need many things, and Choo could bring a piece or two. Deal the guy, and bring in other pieces.
