12:24 PM ET 11.09 | Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson returned to practice on Friday after sitting out the previous two sessions. Johnson has been nursing a knee injury and was held out on both Wednesday and Thursday. Johnson has not missed a game this season and is coming off a 129-yard effort in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Johnson, however, admitted on Thursday that he suffered nerve damage earlier this season in a loss to the Minnesota Vikings, and that's made it tough for him to grip the football. Johnson has just one touchdown catch on the season heading into Sunday's rematch with the Vikings.

Now the Lions are saying he did not have nerve damage but had his bell rung good and doesn't want to play the Vikes because they hit hard and that's no fair. Really? No not really.
