Dan Henderson: fight with Lyoto Machida could happen Super Bowl weekend

12:38 PM ET 11.09 | UFC light heavyweight contender Dan Henderson said while nothing is confirmed, the preliminary talks with the UFC have him fighting former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida on February 2, 2013, the day before the Super Bowl. Traditionally, the UFC stages an event the Saturday prior to the Super Bowl with the next event for the UFC taking place on that day being UFC 156. Henderson revealed the plans on Spike's 'MMA Uncensored Live'. The former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion was scheduled to fight UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones at UFC 151, but was forced to withdraw due to a knee injury.
