12:54 PM ET 11.09 | Fans are now free to watch Anthony Davis resume his rookie season. The New Orleans Hornets' rookie was cleared to return to the court a week after suffering a concussion in the Hornets' win over the Utah Jazz. Davis suffered the concussion when teammate Austin Rivers inadvertently elbowed him in the face. The Hornets lost both games with Davis sidelined and only scored 62 points in Wednesday's defeat at home against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Starting to wonder if this is football posing as basketball with the number of concussions lately, but I will be glad to see what the young man has against the rest of the NBA, Welcome Back Mr. Davis~
