06:21 PM ET 11.09 | Almost a year ago, when Syracuse assistant coach Bernie Fine was accused of molesting as many as three boys as recently as 2002, many people raised an eyebrow and whispered 'witch-hunt'. Accusations against Fine came on the heels of the Penn State-Jerry Sandusky scandal and it seemed a little fishy. Turns out it was fishy as the federal investigation looking into Fine found nothing incriminating about his actions over the last 40 years. As of today, all charges of sexual abuse against Fine have officially been dropped. Meanwhile, Fine is out of a job, his name is forever attached to that of a child molestation case, despite his innocence, and he has taught the world a valuable lesson in how helpless even a powerful man can be when faced with baseless accusations that can cripple a career and ruin a life.

Maybe they should send whoever accused him on a trip to see Jerry.

I think it was the state that brought the charges, he should sue the crap out of the state grab as much cash as he can. He'll never get his name back however.

I think the people who made the false allegations should go to jail for as long as Fine would have gone to jail if he had been found guilty. I also think Syracuse should be forced to give him his job back. If they don't, he should sue them.

Didn't this guy's wife pretty much admit in a taped phone conversation that she had boinked one of the accusers?
