Mariano Rivera looks good at commercial shoot

10:30 AM ET 11.10 | It's still nearly five months until Opening Day in the Bronx, but Mariano Rivera was back on a mound Friday afternoon. The legendary closer made about 25 throws during a commercial shoot in Tarrytown, showing no ill effects from the torn ACL that ended his season last May and landed him on an operating table a month later. Rivera, 42, said his knee is "getting stronger and stronger every day," but he added that he's "not rushing" his rehab with spring training still more than three months away. Rivera told the Yankees last week that he intended to pitch in 2013. General manager Brian Cashman said this week he fully expects to hammer out a new contract with Rivera's agent, Fernando Cuza. Rivera just finished a two-year, $30 million deal, but the Yankees are expected to ask him to take a pay cut on a contract loaded with incentives.
