11:00 AM ET 11.10 | There wasn't as much Tim Duncan vs. DeMarcus Cousins as he would have liked during the Kings' 97-86 loss to the Spurs on Friday night at Sleep Train Arena. That's because the Kings center was limited to 22:58 on the floor because of foul trouble. Cousins was called for five fouls, the third time in six games he has played 25 minutes or fewer because of fouls. Cousins' fourth came as the Kings were rallying in the third quarter and he blocked a shot by Duncan. Cousins eventually settled in a bit during the fourth quarter and had a spirited matchup in the post against Duncan. The play was physical, and there was talking between Cousins and Duncan but nothing that appeared out of the ordinary. "It was a competitive big-man battle," Cousins said. "But some people want to say people are immature and go on TV and make comments about it." Cousins was upset about comments made by Spurs television analyst and former NBA player Sean Elliott but didn't elaborate.

D'Marc... use that as inspiration to improve your game. Just win... that's all you gotta do. Leave the talking and drama stuff to the TV guys.

What did Sean even say?

November 10, 2012  06:48 PM ET

Cousins has the potential to be an HOFer, but his "it's all about me" attitude is killing him.

Cousins slammed into Duncan, backing into the low post to get a shot. He made the shot and then turned to the bench and said "I'm gonna bust his a--!". Duncan laughed it off, but definitely got pissed, so scored three straight baskets on the other end, with 1 block to boot.

Sean Elliot saw this and spent the rest of the broadcast saying how Cousins needed to be humble, and became practically a cheerleader when Duncan scored on Cousins.

A lot of nonsense, really. But Cousins needs to focus on his game. His attitude is causing him to throw away opportunities for his career.

First, Sean is DEAD wrong.
Cousins has ZERO potential to be a HOFer. Heck he has NO chance of even being an All star with his dimwit brain.
Cousins is Curry;s cousin. Will soon join him at the buffet table.
