08:40 AM ET 11.11 | While the Rangers say they won't trade Elvis Andrus or Jurickson Profar, they are interested in Justin Upton. They offered third baseman Mike Olt to the Braves for shortstop Andrelton Simmons, hoping to flip Simmons to the Diamondbacks in an Upton deal Keep an eye on the Rays and Braves in possible trades for Upton. They both have surplus pitching, with James Shields a chip that could get the deal done for the Rays. The Red Sox have had interest in Upton but it's not reciprocal. They are reportedly are on his recently revised no-trade list.

Upton has been on the trade market now for over a year, by question is if so many teams think he is a superstar and want him why are the DBacks trying to trade him.

I believe Upton will be traded soon, and the Rangers have to be the front-runner. They're Upton's new team if they want him.

Probably because the Dbacks have watched him over the last 5 years and believe he's reached his ceiling. He never reached that great potential, and they believe he's not worth the $39M he will be owed over the next 3 seasons. I would have to agree with them.

justin upton tag its as cheap as any utility salary, but this player could play to his capabilities in different team with different escenario, my guess is justin upton should be traded to rangers,

They really don't. They're just hoping some team throws them a King's ransom for him.

Hopefully the Tigers do.

I can't see the Cardinals going in on him, but I'd like to see them try it. He just turned 25 and his numbers up to his 25th birthday are better than Matt Kemp's were. He's most likely not HOF caliber, but he's certainly All Star caliber.

Trade Jay and one of our flame throwing youngster's for him.

Exactly. They'll hold onto him if they can't swing a deal to their liking.
