Since you really don't know what you are getting with Melky without the influence, so I would pay him the minimum with incentives and see what happens.

Melky needs to sign a one year contract, try and duplicate what he's done the last 2 years and show teams he can produce while supposedly clean. Then go for the big deal next year.

You would have to be a complete friggin idiot to sign this moron........

If you can get him on a year deal at a discounted rate, you really have nothing to lose.

melky cabrera should sign one year deal,,to regain his playing time , been suspended for his wrong doing, he's short season could put some rust in his swing, best thing to do, one year deal for 2 millions contract,,

Two very good seasons for Melky, but how much has the juice helped? That is the question.Interested parties are probably the Phillies, Mariners, Orioles, Red Sox, Braves, Nationals, White Sox, Cubs, Indians, Mets, and Rangers.

Melky was a worthless slug in Atlanta. I doubt they would go there again with him.

May be a fit for the White Sox......an aging team whose window is closing rapidly. As for the Cubs.....doubtful. And for all the rest...why not?

been listed as a very interested team in every available player, it doesn't mean the red sox would chose wisely, plus they are more confuse franchise ever since the late 2011 collapse season, and it seems they can't get a grip for the right direction!!!
