Jimmer Fredette's time in Sacramento short?

09:02 AM ET 11.11 | On Twitter, the #freejimmer campaign has been going on in earnest as Jimmer Fredette's most vocal fans demand the second-year guard be "freed" from the Kings. Fredette, however, has yet to jump in and ask to be freed via trade by Kings basketball president Geoff Petrie. "No, definitely not," Fredette said with a laugh. "I haven't talked to Geoff about anything like that." That's not to say Fredette is content. His playing time is inconsistent because he's the third point guard behind Isaiah Thomas and Aaron Brooks. Fredette's season so far includes not appearing in one game and playing just six seconds in another. Coach Keith Smart is hesitant to play Fredette against certain teams. One might be the Los Angeles Lakers, tonight's opponent, whose big guards can post up Fredette. And even when the guards aren't big, they immediately go after Fredette, looking to exploit his defensive shortcomings.

Big ups to my cousin down in Iraq who teaches the marines....
Now then I really see no team that can trade for him.
Every team is pretty much locked when it comes to more than one ball handler, so it's best he go to China or something....

Get leaner and quicker Jimmer. Work harder and eventually you will improve and get more playing time. Worked for JJ Redick.

JJ is a tough Kid with a "I will never be denied" attitude, even the Lovely J. Love is a tough Kid. The Jimmy Jams is just a marginal talent and everybody's rah rah favorite. In today's NBA, his **** is about to be ghost!

If Phil Jackson goes back to the Lakers, ask for a trade to the Lakers ........... your perimeter shooting will work best in the triangle offense. Don't give up, work hard on your game ......... you just happen to be in a system where your talent does not match with the coach's style.

Its stories like these that make me wonder is the current NBA talent truly the cream of the crop? I really never understood what goes into being an NBA player. What are they looking for? IMO some players just get lucky. Or maybe the good ol boys club.
