11:51 AM ET 11.11 | Chip Kelly is going to be a hot commodity some day. Actually, he's already a hot commodity. ESPN reports that several NFL teams are already plotting ways to speak with Kelly, Oregon's head coach. Kelly was nearly a Tampa Bay Buc during the NFL's hiring season earlier this year but decided to stay at Oregon. It will be hard for him to stay in college when multiple NFL teams are knocking on the door, if they're not already.

Oregon's path to the national championship is now clear, so if he wants to jump to the NFL after winning the title, he should have the chance. How successful he will be is another question.

Your post from yesterday:
"If he's waiting to win the national championship before leaving for the NFL, he could be at Oregon for a while yet. "

Yep, that's why they play the games. I don't think any defense outside of Alabama or LSU could stop Oregon, so I think it's theirs to lose now.
