The end for Vick?

07:58 AM ET 11.12 | After this weekend, the immediate football future of Michael Vick grew murkier. [Vick] may have played his last game for the Eagles. If so, it was a fitting and, quite frankly, sad end to his tenure as quarterback. After yet another Eagles loss, a concussed Vick walked nimbly through the locker room with head trainer Rick Burkholder keeping ever so close. Vick appeared woozy, although it would be presumptuous to say he will not play Sunday at Washington. Last season, Vick suffered a concussion against the Falcons and still played the following week. But when he walked out of the locker room and through the corridor that rings the inside of Lincoln Financial Field, Vick stopped for a moment and Burkholder had to grab his hand and turn him toward an exit.

For the Eagles, this might be the best thing in the long run. Foles looked like a rookie and made his share of mistakes, but let's see how he does with a week or more of practice with the starters. He looked good at times. Reid may have never put Foles in otherwise, and it may take time, but I think this is going to improve the team.

Remember the Planet Fitness commercial, where at the end they escort the meat head out a back door into an empty parking lot, and slam the door? I could see the Eagles doing that while Michael was in a concussed state. "Where am I going?" "No worries Mike, it's a new training room we built, right through here ..." SLAM, click.
