08:24 AM ET 11.12 | After a rocky finish to the 2011-12 season, Ilya Bryzgalov hasn't exactly found his way in Russia, either -- in addition to his subpar numbers (2-4-0 with a 2.92 goals against average and an .891 save percentage as of midweek this past week) he has also been ripped regularly in the media. Incidentally, one of proposals in the new CBA talks is an amnesty clause where clubs could lose a contract without penalty. ... Including 2012, Bryzgalov has eight long years left on his $51 million deal. His contract would be obvious to lose were it not for one, tiny matter. There is no No. 1 goalie in the Flyers system to replace Bryz, and other than Tim Thomas, who has walked away from the game, there is no one out there who is any better and immediately available.
