Jeff Gordon, Clint Bowyer scuffle at Phoenix

I for one very much enjoyed the ruckus Sunday-not sure that Jeffie shouldn't have been suspended BUT he IS a 4 time Champ and I guess they get different rules then the other drivers--I just feel bad to the drivers that got wrecked that had nothing to do with the Gordan/Bowyer

Should have let Bowyer talk to ****-Boy......better yet open a can of woop **** on him, but NASCAR had to protect there little,pint size baby.

At least Nascar docked Jeffy some points....if he has a bad race, theoretically Jr could move up to 11th (i know, big deal)....LOL

Jeffy is just as guilty as Bowyer for the side bumping in the past few races........he just went too far at Phoenix....I agree that Jeffy should be parked for Homestead.....Doesn't matter if he is a 4x champ or not.....being a former champion should not be a free pass for anyone to behave like he did.

I cannot believe he didnt get a one week ban. Im not much on this hendrick conspiracy stuff, but this is the first time I have started to doubt wheather all that HMS can get away with anything stuff.

I think if this would have been anyone except a past Champion Nascar would have set them out a race or 2 BUT by it being Jeffie all is OK--$100,000 to him is like a penny to us...

here's my deal, someone ask me before would I feel different if it was kyle or kurt, and someone made a great point that, well, what if they were on probation. If they were on probation, yeah I could see sitting them a race. If gordon did it again this week, I could see sitting him for the 500,but if you are saying to sit him, then there will never be ANY retaliation on the track. Ever. That is what you want in races? Just ride around 5 seconds apart on a 1.5 tracks and never have brawls or banging or hell, even racing? If so, then that's your opinion. I respect it. Just disagree a little lol I am suprised by the support for bowyer, maybe I am in the minority but I think he is a punk. Im a harvick fan and while he was at rcr, he always caused problems. Always.

Long ago, someone on here suggested that when there is a feud like this, they should just have a boxing ring set up and sell tickets for charity and let them fight it out. Good for racin fans, good for boxin fans, good to clear the air, it don't take out other drivers and good for charities and adds an event at the races that everyone would watch. LOL

Let's see here, what drivers have done bad payback things.
Stewart, Edwards, Kes, Bowyer, Gordon, Newman, JPM,Hamlin, Burton, Dinger,Mears, Kyle B, Kurt B, Ambrose Biffle, JJ,Llogano, Danica,Harvick, Kenseth, Did I miss anyone? point I am tryin to make is that paybacks are here to stay. It's the takin it too far that has to stop.
