Agreed. The defensive lineman was trying to keep him upright on the play so as not to draw a penalty, and Vick seemed to throw himself on the ground. Could he be sandbagging?

You know, with all the dog Vick has had to play with on that team I would expect it to be a parole violation

This is plausable IMO.

I've never seen any reason to question Vick's courage. I question his judgement on a regular basis, but I think that if he had been able to play he would have gone back out and continued getting clobbered.

This offensive line reminds me of Archie Manning running for his life back in the 60's with the Saints.

yeah, if the baseline was 6 (plus or minus 5), even a lower score would likely be in the confidence interval.

Maybe he's barking up the wrong tree.

That is an issue with judgement, not courage. His moral judgement is as flawed as the rest of his judgement.
