Garcon practicing again

04:25 PM ET 11.12 | Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon practiced for the first time in a month on Monday after being sidelined with a sprain in his foot for much of the season. Head coach Mike Shanahan said Garcon was limited in his return to the practice field but Shanahan was "glad he was out there today trying to fight through it." The injury is to a ligament in Garcon's toe and he has said it causes pain when he tries to run on it, negating the asset of the receiver's speed. Garcon said on Monday that the injury was not feeling 100 percent, but that he did what he could in his first practice since Oct. 12.

The players think the season is over; Shanahan is just reminding them that they have the rest of their career to play for.
