05:47 PM ET 11.12 | DeMarcus Cousins' confrontation with San Antonio Spurs broadcaster Sean Elliot has gotten him in trouble with the NBA. The league suspended Cousins for two games on Sunday after his "hostile" meeting with Elliot following the Spurs' win over the Kings on Friday night. Elliot had questioned Cousins' maturity on air, and Cousins was not happy with Elliot's remarks. "That's why some humility is in order. You think you're dominating Tim Duncan, you get it stuffed right back in your face. Timmy doesn't like to talk trash," Elliot said on air. "But if guys start talking mess to him, he's going to respond. All that trash talking was premature. I'm not about to let these guys off the hook. Young ballclub should learn from this. Don't start talking and flapping your gums against one of the greatest players ever. He's going to make you pay. Tell me who got the best of this exchange."

Well....Was there any truth to the statement?

Elliot should shut up and let players do their thing on the court.......

Uh......what Elliot did is what color commentators are paid to do. Cousins should've taken his butt-whoppin' like a big boy and then gotten on the team bus to the airport.

In other words, Cousins should've let it go.

Agree. Cousins has great talent, but once again, is letting his immaturity derail him. The fine is nothing compared to the lost $$ in future contracts, when teams cautious about signing a knucklehead offer less. And of course, smaller endorsement $$ as well.

Now that's the DeMarcus Cousins I know and love. Keep on keeping it real player, REAL IGNORANT. Maybe this will be his wake up call depend on how many games he misses or how much money the extract from his pockets, but I seriously doubt it.
