Former Falcons Ray Edwards to Tampa?

02:46 AM ET 11.13 | The Atlanta Falcons surprised a lot of people on Monday night when they unexpectedly cut defensive end Ray Edwards, a guy they threw $27.5 million at back in 2011. Now Edwards, who was supposed to anchor the Falcons defensive line, is hitting the waiver wire and will be available to anyone who wants him. The Buccaneers have a history of claiming guys off the waiver wire, and they have a need at defensive end which begs the question: should the Buccaneers take a shot at claiming Ray Edwards? Some fundamental questions need to be asked: how much will he cost, will he be an impact at that prorated cost, will he put the Bucs over the top and will his presence throw off or mess with the culture Greg Schiano has established in Tampa?

I hope for the Falcons sake his money is not guaranteed. Edwards was a head cast in Minnesota, who tried boxing and thought he was better than anyone else and look at him now unemployed.
