Roethlisberger has 'unusual' separated shoulder

Typical NFL. And, even if he is in a full body cast, the Steelers will list him as "questionable" right up until game time.

If they're going to fine teams for not listing every tiny baseball-type injury, this is what you get.

He'll always want to play, that's for sure but we saw what happened last year when he should have been kept out of a couple of games

They played horrible last night , really sucked. Now they have the Ravens for 2 of the next 3 games without Roethlisberger, that doesn't look good...

I thought he had arm troubles even before the season started. I'm sure this doesn't help.

Ravens no where close to what they have been with their rush defense. That could be the key if Ben can't play.

What on earth does "unusual" mean? They probably would have been better off to leave that word out of their statement.

The real question is whether it's a "legitimate" separated shoulder to go with Roethlisrapist's legitimate rape history.

Maybe we can look at this as an "opportunity" to see the back-up in play, like SF, and Philly, and some others...oh wait, Roethlisberger is actually good, and we have seen his backup before and weren't impressed.

For Pittsburgh's sake, I hope he isn't as badly hurt as it sounds, and gets back soon.
