07:57 AM ET 11.13 | Don't call it a setback, that's what the Sixers are saying. The good news is Andrew Bynum says he's feeling better. The bad news is he doesn't feel so much better that he's ready to join his new teammates on the basketball court. "It's better than when I started, but it's still not there yet," Bynum said Monday. Nevertheless, the long awaited update from the Sixers on the status of their big offseason acquisition now has a timeline and maybe this time it is actually a defined one. ... According to the Sixers' latest timeline, Dec. 10 is the target date for Bynum to make his practice debut. After that, the team says Bynum will need one to four weeks of practice time until he can join the Sixers for a game.

...This injury is a major set back for the 76ers...somebody got the raw end of the deal here. Good morning all.

QUOTE(#4):

I don't know about that....They've wanted iggy out for years and as long as bynm is healthy by the trade deadline, he still has more value than iggy.I think it was a good gamble for them, cause they went as far as they could with iggy as the centerpiece

Totally agree with you... plus the fact they can let Bynum walk at the end of the season and keep the CAP space they've created to bring someone else in is what probably made the Sixers bite on this move... If they resign Bynum on the other hand, then I'll say they are screwed...

Jeez, Bynum is always hurt 1 year of not being hurt and he finally displayed something very good. Hopefully he has enough gas to provide something during the second half of the season
