08:16 AM ET 11.13 | From nearly the start of his career, which has included unseating Tate Forcier as a starter, Denard Robinson has been electric. [Robinson] picked up a muffed snap and burst for a 43-yard touchdown run on his first play at quarterback in Michigan Stadium, offering an early glimpse of what his four-year career would offer. Now it's possible that he's already played his final snap in the stadium that made him famous. Robinson has missed the past two games with a nerve injury in his throwing elbow. Coach Brady Hoke has refused to offer an update on his senior quarterback, saying only that he's "day to day." With his final home game looming Saturday against Iowa, it's possible his career in that stadium is finished.

Wasn't really a passing threat. His legs work, so use them.

I agree, there are a lot of ways to get an athelete into the game... Particularly if it is his last home game.

Don't tell the SEC that spread offenses exists. They're still in denial...but having to rethink it after Saturday.
"Oh, they've proven themselves. And in doing so, they may well precipitate a sea change in the SEC. As many as four conference schools (Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee and Auburn) may soon change coaches, and you just know they'll be seeking their own versions of Sumlin. Defense will remain a bedrock for schools like Alabama, Florida and LSU, but before you know it, nearly half the schools in the league could be running their own version of the Air Raid." Can't hurt to have him on the field!!! Heck let him run back kicks since he is no longer the QB, OH WAIT, they already tried that!

Nice quote and it is possible, yet not probable all of those schools go that route. I think it takes more than one win by A/M against a big boy to change the culture. Remember now folks A/M beat Texas and OU from time to time, but could never change the end result of not being Champions......

Geez what do you want. Gardner has played two games and won two games. Granted that neither the Gophers nor the Wildcats are worldshakers, neither are they the drega of college football.
UM doesn't play blowout football--er, that is except in losing to Alabama. They could lose to a good Iowa team (again) and to a very good Ohio State team. I think they'll be in both games all the way and win at least one of them.

But I do figure TSUN is done for the year. And you guys could just as easy be undefeated.

Personally I feel a little melancholy over the whole Denard thing. Wish he was healthy to finish his career and he many times gets the short-end of the stick when it comes to Michigan fans appreciation.
Never a great and only sometimes good passer, he has excited Michigan fans with his legs and playmaking ability; and led the team through possibly its worst 2 year stretch in history.
Hopefully, he gets to play these last 2 games despite Gardner's rise.
Truth, surprised to see you say ". . . but it no longer matters." Not sure why you feel that way. There's lots to play for these last 2 games.
In the beginning of the year, I said 9-3 would be a good year considering the schedule (Alabama in Dallas, at ND, MSU, at Nebraska, and at OSU). They may not get to 9-3 but it is still a possibility.
Many Michigan fans were deceived by the year last year (11-2). There were many fortuitous events during the year and that continued into the Sugar Bowl. The 10-2 regular season could have easily been 8-4.
ND fans may experience a similar fate in 2013 as their year has been full of very close games and fortuitous events to remain undefeated.
