11:33 AM ET 11.13 | Two months after he was released by the Miami Dolphins, quarterback David Garrard is healthy and ready to return to an NFL team, according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports. Garrard climbed to the top of the depth chart for the Dolphins in training camp before a left knee injury sidelined him and required arthroscopic surgery in August to repair. In his absence, rookie Ryan Tannehill earned the starting spot for the Dolphins and Garrard was released shortly thereafter. Glazer reports that Garrard says he is fully recovered from the knee injury and is confident that he is ready for action.

Would you rather go with Garrard or trade for Timmy T and his explosive Wildcat ability? Tee hee.

Vikings? Not too late to salvage the season, but Ponder's not getting the job done.
Cardinals? Two healthy QBs who can't win.
Steelers? Even for less money, this is the best option.
Garrard is 34. One or two good years is all you can hope for, so teams like the Bills or Browns who are already out of it and need to find a "quarterback of the future" shouldn't bother.
