12:53 PM ET 11.13 | Ben Roethlisberger suffered a SC sprain on his throwing (right) shoulder in Monday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin made the announcement at his Monday press conference. Though Tomlin was expectedly noncommittal on Roethlisberger's status for the Steelers Week 11 game against the Baltimore Ravens, he said Roethlisberger's injury puts him "in the questionable category". Tomlin also noted that Roethlisberger has played without practicing before, so that's an option.

Could be. I looked it up, and they said it's an "unusual" injury, the same word used in the first of the 3 Roethlisberger threads for today, so far. The standard treatment is anti-inflammatory drugs and a sling. But it's not the doom and gloom picture painted earlier.

The word right now is not season ending. So not as bad as it could've been!
