Unless they actually invented both the word football and the name Johnny I don't think they should be able to prevent others from using it...no doubt they got "doesn't share well" on their elementary report cards.....

too funny...because theyre out to <work with the family> to protect the name...so that, you know, A&M can make boat loads of money while exploiting their son...then if hes rated as a serious NFL talent then maybe he can make a few bucks too...MAYBE.

Dont get me wrong im a fan of Johnny football until he plays Florida but he has about as much chance of winning 3-4 heismans as Derek Dooley winning coach of the year how ever if he stays healthy and plays consistant he could win 2

He could win 1. I suspect next season he will not be as effective. Defenses will figure out ways to contain him. Remember he is currently "out of his element" in the SEC and those teams are not used to dealing with such a dynamic player. The same thing happened with $Cam Newton. After this season D coordinators will focus in on how they can contain him and he will be less effective. I am not saying he is not an exceptional player. He is! I am just saying that he probably will not have the same type of season he is having this year next year. I see him having the potential to win 1 but not 2. After watching him in person at Bryant Denny scorching our D I have to say that he must be greased down before every game.
