Big East settles on East, West divisions

Someone must have scrounged up a map...competitive football balance playing a role seems silly, the status quo doesn't stay the same very long in CFB...if Strong were to leave UL could become a doormat...

If they wanted it to be competitive would they not put Boise in the west and the rest of the teams in the east?

How boring. Should have hired the B1G brass to dream up some crappier names for us to banter about.

I see this being a biggie for the Aztecs. Some 3* kid from the east visits he campus here in Nov??? He won't sign the LOI fast enough, and his family still gets to see him play every week.

The western division teams will be playing in three different time zones and getting plenty of frequent flyer miles.

It would have been so much easier if they had named their divisions "Leaders" and "Legends".

Cruising the SD State campus should give those eastern recruits a better understanding of "I wish they all could be California girls".

Then....the East Coast team could get together and build a huge Athletic Apartment Complex and the West Coast teams could come and live there for the season....then next season, the East Coast teams would move to the West Coast Athletic Complex.

Then you would have the payoff of playing the game, but also the rent from the apartments...
