08:12 AM ET 11.14 | A good many Lakers fans were likely disappointed to find that Phil Jackson would not not their man, after all, but he did have at least something to do with Mitch Kupchak's move. "The actual way it took place after the basketball discussion was kind of, 'Where are we now?' And Phil said he needs some more time. I asked him, 'How much more time?' And he said, 'I will get back to you on Monday.' At that point, I said, 'Phil, I have a job to do and I'm going to have to continue my search and interview candidates,' and he nodded that he understood." Kupchak added: "Our feeling was there was no agreement to wait for your response on Monday. He told us that's when he would get back to us. Now, I could see where he might interpret that as 'You guys will wait for me.'"

'You guys will wait for me.'

Meaning, little Jimmy was standing behind Mitch prodding him on.

QUOTE(#5):

You're sounding better every day...lolAnd yes Jim Buss just effed this up big time. The Lakers already looks good even w/out their coach. The lakers plays will be the same now as when Dumbtonie coaches. Players are actually playing and have freedom to create plays.

The Lakers didnt know what they were doing on the last play vs the Spurs, they need a coach

Just sayin...

This all sounds very familiar. A few years ago (quite a few) the Lakers were way loaded with talent but were not winning. Enter a head coach that could get them to work together and the rest is history. Hummmmmmmm, what was that guys name? Is it possible that this has heppened more than once with the Lakers. Is it possible (make that probable) that it won't happen with coaching change. Yougo on about your bad self little Jimmy.
