Ball targets NCAA record vs. Buckeyes

08:22 AM ET 11.14 | Though this season hasn't gone according to plan for Montee Ball and Wisconsin, the running back can make some history. [Ball] is just one touchdown shy of the NCAA career record going into the game against Ohio State on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium. Travis Prentice, who played at Miami (Ohio), holds the record with 78. "It's the ideal picture, basically for myself, to break the record here at home in my last home game," Ball said on Monday. Standing in the way of that scenario are the Buckeyes (10-0), who rank 16th nationally and second in the Big Ten Conference in rushing defense. ... Ohio State coach Urban Meyer is bringing his sixth-ranked team here to win a game first, but denying Ball the record probably is high on the to-do list.

Well good for Monte. Of course I would be remiss to not mention it helps with Bilema runs up the score on the JV teams they play

Couldn't even run it up on the 4 JV teams they played this year....even lost one of them (Oregon State isn't a JV team this year) and barely beat the other three. Bell even got knocked out of the UTEP game. They had to get to B1G conference play for Bell to get his yards this year.
