12:13 PM ET 11.14 | Brady Quinn is still not good to go, so once again the Kansas City Chiefs will turn to embattled starting quarterback Matt Cassel this Sunday when they host the Cincinnati Bengals, as tweeted by Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star on Wednesday. Teicher tweeted that head coach Romeo Crennel said Quinn still hasn't been cleared by doctors, despite Quinn's assertion otherwise earlier in the day. Quinn sustained a concussion in his one start of the season, Oct. 28 against the Oakland Raiders. He was knocked out of that game and replaced by the starter going into the season, Cassel, who has started every Chiefs game since.

Actually, "still not ready" does not refer to Quinn's recovering from any injury.

Really? What's the point? Put in Stanzi and be done with it. It's inevitable that the Chiefs will be drafting a QB round one. Unfortunately, the up coming QB class does not look very strong. I'd look at Klien or Jones, before Barkley or Smith...

If you don't like the potential draft choices, mine the # 2 & 3 QBs from other teams. They can probably be had for a cheaper price too.

It's the Notre Dame thing...
Just cause he was QB there, the Chiefs figure he'll draw attention.
Look what it did for Rick Mirer (12 years in the league and can't really say any of them were #2 overall worthy).

I am actually hopeful that we don't bite on this upcoming crop of QB'S because I dont see a franchise saver in this years draft. We need durable offensive linemen, and then I am hoping that the world has given up on Vick so we can get him for a bargain price. My perfect world of course but IN REALITY either the Chiefs stick to their old guns and draft a defensive lineman or getta QB who won't be ready to contribute for several years if ever. *Sigh

Give him time. It's only his sixth season in the NFL. In a few more years maybe he'll stop making rookie mistakes.

At least, Cassell proved that if you put an undefeated team around him, he can almost get you to the playoffs. almost.
