02:27 PM ET 11.14 | The St. Louis Rams would like to keep Danny Amendola around after this season. Sam Bradford's top target is scheduled to be a free agent in 2013, and the Rams could use the franchise tag to keep him from slipping away to other teams. The New England Patriots are one team thought to be interested in him as a replacement for Wes Welker. St. Louis has said that a long-term deal with Amendola is a priority. The Rams signed Chris Long and James Laurinaitis to extensions this year. Using the tag on Amendola, if they can't get a deal done by free agency, would give them until July to reach a deal.

If the Rams can Tag Amendola and get a couple of receivers in the 2013 draft, then they should be in good shape, as they have a pretty defense this year and for next year.

I agree and the Rams have two first round picks (theirs and the Skins) and they should be able to draft a couple of good receivers. Let's not forget that the Rams are in a re-building stage and are the youngest team in the NFL!!!
