Matthews out again for Packers

03:12 PM ET 11.14 | Green Bay Packers starting linebacker Clay Matthews will be out for this week's match-up against the Detroit Lions, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The 26-year-old has sat out for over a week now with a hamstring injury. The Packers knew that Matthews was going to miss Sunday's game against Detroit a while ago so they've been planning accordingly, Packers coach Mike McCarthy said while speaking with reporters during a post-practice news conference. The initial timetable for his return was two weeks, and this counts as his second week on the sidelines.
