Can the Vikings keep it up?

03:42 PM ET 11.14 | The Minnesota Vikings have the week off to rest following their 34-24 victory over the Detroit Lions last Sunday, but they've been given few favors on the rest of their schedule. Things kick off immediately following the bye with back-to-back road games in Chicago and Green Bay, which could be either a blessing or a curse. Considering that the Vikings have a 6-4 record at this point, they're still realistically in striking distance of winning the NFC North if they can end the season on a roll. With two remaining games apiece against the Packers and Bears, Minnesota at least has the opportunity to make some serious noise over the next couple months.

They have a chance at a playoff spot but it's hard to really believe they'll acquire one. SKOL VIKINGS, either way, though.

They have improved! They finished last year at 3-13, and most pundits thought they wouldn't be much better than that this year.
Still, playoffs are a stretch.

@Chicago, @Green Bay, Chicago, @ St. Louis, @ Houston, Green Bay. The 5th or 6th seed will go to either one of these teams: Seattle, Chicago, Minnesota. Seattle has a much easier schedule than either Chicago or Minnesota, so it really comes down to Chicago or Minnesota battling it out for last Wild Card spot in the NFC. Minnesota at this point has a better divisional record (2-0) than does Chicago (1-1).

Im a lifelong huge vikings fan, but they will finish around 7-9. Ponder is not good. If we had a solid qb, the vikes would be maybe 9-1 right now.

Yes they can. They have more than the luck of the irish going for them. Every team they played with a winning record in the first five games had their star player missing: runnig back, or QB or top receiver.
When they needed that boost to get over the hump, here come the Lions. The Lions have helped make the Vikings healthy for 40 years.
