08:14 AM ET 11.15 | Add another voice to a chorus of Sunday morning quarterbacks in Tuscaloosa. Saban has been second-guessed by plenty of pundits and fans after failing to convert a late drive into what could have been a game-winning touchdown against Texas A&M. The latest to chime in on Saban's decision to abandon the run: Alabama Governor Robert Bentley. "I would actually have run the ball for four straight times," Bentley said when asked if he would have run the ball on 4th down from the 2-yard line. The clip was played repeatedly on the Paul Finebaum Radio Network on Wednesday prompting several callers to comment on the governor's statement.

Damned if you do damned if you don't. If he had ran the ball 4 times and not made then he would have been critizied for not throwing it. Holy <hit!!! did I just defend Saban??

That's what happens when you're the best or one of the best at what you do, and still make a mistake.

By the time Shula was fired, no one really questioned his calls because we expected him to make a bad decision and lose the game.

Why would a governor threaten a king?

Shaking hands and kissing babies has definitely qualified this guy to chastise Saban. I say give him a head set next game and watch the improvement!
