Tedford to learn fate Sunday

08:16 AM ET 11.15 | The clock is ticking for Jeff Tedford in Berkeley. Cal athletic director Sandy Barbour said she and [Tedford] might meet as soon as Sunday to discuss his future as the Bears football coach. "In college football, there's not a lot of time to say 'we'll get to that tomorrow,' " Barbour said Tuesday evening. That means the two could be meeting the day after Cal's season finale at Oregon State. The discussion "would go from there, however long it takes us," Barbour added. "We need to resolve quickly what are the solutions to getting Cal football moving in the right direction," she said. "My first and foremost driver in any decision I will make is what's right for Cal."

Agreed.
When the head honcho says "We need to resolve quickly what are the solutions to getting Cal football moving in the right direction", it's blindingly obvious that he thinks you currently ain't cutting it.

I think a really good reality show (if there is such a thing) would be a halfway house for fired coaches trying to readjust to life w/o football.
Can you imagine an ESPN reality show w/ Tedford, Edsel, John L, Dooley, Joker Phillips & Chizic living together? Made-for-tv drama right there. It would be like a bad accident, you'd want to look away, but you just couldn't

Actually Cal has never been a great football program, but damn they are really in need of a change at head coach. I would really like to see Chris Petersen offered the job, but I don't think that will happen!!

Until now, I would never have thought he would leave where he is coaching, however with the fact he is about to have to travel 3,000 light years per season to play games he may look for something else?
