08:17 AM ET 11.15 | The Gators will now turn to Jacoby Brissett, whose last full game was a forgettable 41-11 loss at LSU in October 2011, for at least a week. Not only has [Jeff Driskel] been ruled out for Saturday's game against Jacksonville State with a sprained right ankle, the Gators also are concerned about his availability to play next week at Florida State. "It's a situation that continues to improve," coach Will Muschamp said. "How much it will improve into next week, I have no idea at this time. We feel like he'll be available, but who knows?" ... [Brissett] played a limited number of snaps in four games this season, including last week's 27-20 win over Louisiana-Lafayette.

UF is just going to punt to prove that Special Teams and Defense can win games.

Worked for LSU all the way to the NCG last year.

They ran the ball for 3 downs, then punted. UF is just going to punt with an occasional fake.

He probably like Johnny Football since he's from Kerrville...and another RGIII type that UTx didn't offer to.

Surely they can out punt Jacksonville St ????

If we get to pick, I choose Gillislie to miss the game. He might be the only way you guys score, on offense at least. We like putting the ball on the ground this year, so you might get a scoop and score or two.

So, what are the chances that either team focuses on their opponent this week: Jax St and UMD (using its sixth QB/LB or something like that)?

Here is your morning bit of Gruden to UTK news/rumors/nonsense:

Gruden's Demands:
A guaranteed 10 year deal @ $5 million per year.
A kitty of $4-5 million per year for his assistants

Damn...

The only problem with that in this day and age is the 10 yr guarantee?

I expect UF to focus on its passing attack, emphasis on pass protection. Shoot, UF can not ignore Jax St., UF does not have the margin of error for that. ULL proved that.
