01:45 PM ET 11.15 | The New Orleans Saints have rediscovered their running game while running back Darren Sproles has been out of action the past two games. But that attack could become even more potent with the possible return of Sproles, who according to NOLA.com returned to practice this week in preparation for the team's game against the Oakland Raiderson Sunday. Sproles has missed the past two games with a broken hand. Interim head coach Joe Vitt said he was "very, very encouraged" with Sproles' limited participation Wednesday.

Two weeks ago it was "a season ending event" now he is gonna play. Not much hype and drama on here

When he was playing he averaged fewer than 4 carries per game. He seems to have been playing the old Reggie Bush "decoy back" position.

He was an awesome acquisition for the Saints a couple of years back. If he could get that back, this team could finish strong and still have a chance for a wild card.

But, they don't have an easy schedule. It ain't gonna be easy.
