02:55 PM ET 11.15 | New York Jets owner Woody Johnson addressed the media after practice on Thursday afternoon and stated that the anonymous player who criticized backup quarterback Tim Tebow does not speak for the team. The New York Daily news published a story on Wednesday that quoted an anonymous defensive starter who stated that Tebow was "terrible." Johnson said on Thursday that he thinks the player who spoke anonymously is a coward and that if he has something to say, he should step forward and make his voice heard.

Here's the problem, Woody... any time one of those knuckleheaded players you are paying opens their mouth and utters something stupid... or anytime your coach says something equally inane... they are speaking for your organization.

Yup. And the good thing about anonymous quotes is they don't have spin the party line. So they may be cowardly but they're also, most likely, honest.

"Woody Johnson: 'Anonymous people don't speak for the Jets'" ... right ... this moron who destroyed his team's chemistry by bringing in Jesus Christ is the one who speaks for this team.

Nah, just re-organize. Replace the owner with the water boy.

"Late Thursday, new Jets owner Gunga Din fired coach Rex Ryan and replaced him with..."

Did Jets not finish last yr like 0 and 5 or something. Ravens passed on promoting Ryan as their head coach; maybe they knew something.Jest gave up two first round picks to nab Sanchez who has not produced. Don't think Tebow is their problem and you cant fire the owner

November 16, 2012  12:49 PM ET

Oh, I musta miss read that I thought the Jest GOT two first round picks for taking Sanchez

Anonymous people do speak for the Jets, that is the problem.
