03:37 PM ET 11.15 | Either the cat's out of the bag early, or someone got some tricky information, because a story briefly appeared at VandySports.com earlier in the day about N.C. State contacting James Franklin to take over for Tom O'Brien. O'Brien has not yet been fired, and doesn't seem to be in urgent danger (though some fans continue to grumble). The story was removed.
