04:39 PM ET 11.15 | Even though his starting quarterback is currently dealing with a serious concussion at the moment, Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher once again reiterated that he would lie about a possible head injury in order to stay on the field, according to Andrew Seligman of The Associated Press. The 34-year-old Urlacher originally made comments to HBO earlier in the year that he would do anything in his power to keep playing with a concussion, prompting a significant amount of backlash from around the league. But when the subject was broached again this week with reporters due to Jay Cutler's concussion, Urlacher didn't back down from his comments.

He is clearly playing with a head that was concussed multiple times in HS and College football, and that accounts for his caveman mentality today.
Try having a coherent conversation with him in about twenty years (if he's still alive). These knuckleheads that want to deny medical warnings are going to live a sad life after the NFL.

My guess is, in his last lucid moment, he will still say he did the right thing. This is a guy who would rather die with his football helmet on.

This kills me. Players who lie to stay on the field and then later in their life complain that the league is not doing enough to help player safety even going so far as to file class action lawsuits.
I'm also tired of hearing from this blowhard. Listening to Urlacher speak is right up there with the Favre threads.
