10:47 PM ET 11.15 | It's pretty safe to say that after yesterday's elbow scan, he's now been cleared by team doctors to start taking part in baseball activities again. This is fantastic news considering how much he was missed in the rotation last year. Garza is a true man of "character," even joking on his Twitter feed about playing wiffle ball with his followers. His presence on the bench will be welcomed back with open arms as well. Expect Garza to be ready to rock for spring training and remain atop the Chicago Cubs rotation in 2013.

I just can't see why Garza is still with the Cubs and why is he not part of trade talks to help rebuild the Cubs for the future, because again they will be through be through by the fourth of July.

He won't be as marketable in the off season coming off an elbow injury as he might be come mid season next year.

...until Theo is able to acquire a boatload of talent for the guy.

unless he added more than 6 top players in that type of a trade, it won't happen!!!

Remaining atop the Cubbie rotation is like like living in the top floor of a slum building. Not much to brag about. Let's see how long Garza lasts before he's on the disabled list again.
